2022 Pumpkin Palooza

This Pumpkin Palooza mead is made from pumpkins grown right here in the farm. The pumpkins were roasted to bring out the natural fruit sugars and fermented with caramelized local honey. You’ll notice the toasty, caramel-y notes as they blend with the mellow sweetness of the pumpkin, creating an enticing palooza of pumpkin for your mouth to enjoy.
Pairings: This toasty, mellow notes of pumpkin mead pair well with notes of piquancy found in rich cheeses such a Blue cheese, Gorgonzola, and goat cheese. They also complement chili and meats such as beef, roasted poultry and rabbit.

A medium body and full flavor mead. Sweet fig is blended with local wildflower honey, gently kissed by the floral and earthy notes of saffron and rested in medium toasted oak barrels to draw out the beautiful tannin notes including toffee and caramel. So dark, rich, and decadent it must be forbidden.
Pairings: This dark and complex mead complements rich and savory dishes such a roasted pork, lamb and venison.

We ordered both the Plum and flower and loved both!! We bought them for gifts and decided to keep them for ourselves after trying the plum. We only drink alcohol on occasion, and neither of us likes wine, but this mead is Fabulous. A nice treat, can’t wait to try the new Fig.
I absolutely love this mead. I live in Kentucky and was so excited when my 3 bottles (plum, flower, and blackberry) arrived. The bottles were placed very securely. I opened my first bottle at Thanksgiving and it was a big hit (we finished bottle 1 (plum) and started bottle 2 (blackberry). I love the label and look. The mead was great, not too sweet, and went down really easy. I highly recommend this for home and as gifts.
